If a minor commits a crime and is not tried until after the age of 18. are they tried as a minor?

    It depends on the crime. Even someone with a 22 IQ could figure that out. Guess that must mean yours has to be, what, a --42???

    It depends on the age of the minor AND the crime as to how they will be charged. It's unlikely someone underage would be held that long if it's only a misdemeanor, but if it's a felony, even 10 year olds can be tried as adults.

    Yes. But if convicted, they go to grownup prison.

    Nope usually at 17 they will trial you as a adult anyways
