Best way to do Abs exercises?

I've been researching some abs challenges to do on pinterest. Should I do 5 minutes of cardio before I do the challenges, or can I just go right in and do the crunches and sit ups cold?

    It's never a bad thing to warm up before exercise. Stretching has been proven to be beneficial after (not before) exercise. So, do a quick little cardio warm-up. See the source link for more info on that (I think there's even a little warm-up video)
