    It is a bit of a toss between the Etruscan shrew (pygmy shrew) and Kitti's hog-nosed bat, AKA bumblebee bat.

    They each weigh about 10 grams (2 US nickles) and a body hardly over 1 inch.

    It's a rodent of some sort. I think a shrew. I'd pick bat as second.
