You know the season starts in September, right?
Other than waiting to watch your guys get hurt in off season workouts, what is the point of drafting before late August?

Most leagues will draft in August, with approximately 50% in the last week of August. That doesn't mean that you have to wait, though. You'll be at the same advantage / disadvantage as others in your league if you decide to draft sooner.
