Legality of reselling products?
I want to start selling products on amazon. I'm thinking of creating a starter pack that would involve me buying other products to put in like pens, pencils, notebooks, dictionary etc. Is it illegal to resell a product like webster's dictionary? where can I buy products like these with private labeling companies?
also, is it legal to sell custom made shirts?

It would seem that you've never actually walked into a store before...

All these products are able to be sold and resold. Anybody can sell a Websters Dictionary. Websters are not book sellers, they are publishers. A publisher is not the same as a bookseller. A post office can sell a Websters Dictionary, as can a bookstore, or a office equipment store, or a hair salon, or a coffee shop, or a hotel (if they wanted to). A retail outlet can sell whatever they like.
Get your stock from warehouses (actual or online). Permission to sell is not required. As long as you are a legitimate seller and source your material from legitimate places and do not steal, you are working within the law.
You will need a business number, for taxation purposes. So register your business with your government and everything should go well.
