You can have your will set up anyway you wish. I knew of a man who arranged his will so that none of his children received their inheritance until they had college degrees (the area of study was entirely their own choices), or until they turned 35 years old. You really need to make an appointment with an experienced probate attorney. He/she will be able to help you in getting your will set up the way you want it.

No. You can make a will and have the trust be dispersed at different times. We have one for our grandsons that disperses the money at 18 provided they are working full time or in college, at 25 and at 35. They get 30% at the first two and the rest at the last one.

Did an attorney tell you that? Does not sound like it. My relative holds control of a trust for his brother's granddaughter and she does not get access to the money on her on until she turns 25. So unless it is some bizarre state law where you live, should be able to stipulate whatever age you want. I have seen trusts where the recipient did not get access to all the money until 30 or even older.
