Are VR games like ones on Playstation VR too shallow? Can they get deeper games in there?

    I think you'll find all VR games, regardless of the platform, are pretty shallow right now. Most can't even be called "games" by today's standards.

    The state of VR reminds me of the early days of computer gaming, back when the Apple ][ and IBM-PC (yes the actual "PC") were state of the art. Lots of people were trying to make games back then, but the vast majority of them were just trash. It took time for people to learn enough about programming and game design to even begin making the earliest classic games, such as Zork, Ultima, or even a decent rip-off of Space Invaders.

    Modern VR has come a long way, but developers are still wrestling with some very large and basic issues, such as motion sickness, and making immersive games that don't tire out the player from having him run around waving his hands for hours at a time.

    I still believe there is great potential in VR but it's going to take time to uncover it.

    VR games are extremely limited because the medium is very limited. Developers are already slowing down production if VR titles.
