Okay odd question...is it normal to be sweating profusely when you have a cold?

Problem is, my definition of a cold right now is just a runny nose. No chills, no sore throat, no fever. But I wake up and my pillow is soaked in sweat. I've heard of the saying "sweat it out" but do I even have a cold to be sweating like crazy? Thank you so much

Yes. If you are running a fever, it is good to sweat it out of your body. This means the impurities and germs are leaving your body. Stay under your blankets, keep warm. The more you sweat, the faster you will feel better.

You need to see a doctor.
