Are the Spurs a better team than the Cavs overall this year?

During the two games they played during the regular season, San Antonio won twice-once in overtime and once in a blowout. SA had a winning record against every contender in both the East and West. Meantime, The vaunted Cavaliers were a disappointing two games over .500 against the Western Conference, which includes such powerhouses as the Lakers and TWolves. Cavs are not as good as they were last year.

The Spurs finished with a better record, a better net rating, and were ranked higher in the basketball power index. Obviously you can never count out Lebron in the playoffs, but by pretty much every measure the Spurs are better, they're just playing in the harder conference
