This happened to someone in the Midwest. A liberal tracked him down to his house. The liberal went to his house and tried to break in. Fortunately the man was armed and was able to terminate the liberal.

Actually it would easy just as long as your IP address is part of a criminal investigation. Once they can marry your IP address and time it was used they can contact Yahoo to determine the user information associated with that IP address. The authorities can also contact your ISP and get records associated with that IP address to find out the owner of the account in question.

maybe used whois to find the owner of the IP address and then other sources [google?] to find that person by name and location??
