Can steroids cure a uti or will it make it worse?

I won't take them cuz my uti was just cured and now another friend of mine has a uti now was asking if it will help I told him I don't Think it's a good idea even if u don't have an illness

    Steroids decrease the immune and inflammation response, so they will not cure an infection and can possibly make them worse.

    If no one answers this that makes u bad ppl it's almost u like death
