Neighbours extension what to do?
Neighbour wanted to build an extension and done it legally through an architect and we signed to say we were in agreement. It is our boundary wall on a terraced property.
The builders who built it said 3 times they would paint our side before leaving, but never did. They also said that they thought it was built too high.
It has reduced daylight into our second bedroom.
The neighbour no longer speaks to us.
Last week, I got my own builder in to see what can be done and he informed us that we can never build onto neighbours extension.
What can we do?

You can have an ATTORNEY review whatever your SIGNED. That CONTRACT is effectively the law on the issue. Unless you can PROVE the agreement is inherently illegal, you forfeited the right to complain by signing the document.

Go knock on your neighbors door and cause a fuss, since that's obviously where this is heading anyway.

Check with the local council building inspector, tell them about your concerns, lack of finish that was promised to you and if they passed/signed off the finished building..........
