Has anyone ever heard the term "frog stangler"? I heard it for the first time today. I know what it means.?

Just wondering who all has heard of it and where you live?

    Never heard it. Michigan (often considered part of the Midwest).

    Yep. Quite common usage in the Midwestern USA.

    Yep, I heard it occasionaly while growing up in North Carolina.

    Out here in Southern California we almost never have any weather events that could be called that :)
