How long would it take to drive across jupiter?

Technically, you wouldn't be able to drive on it, you would just fall through to the center because it's just gas, and you would die because of the extreme pressure before then anyway. However, if you were some how able to drive on the surface of Jupiter, it would take you approximately 8100 years at 60mph.

11.2 times more (that is if you presume that what we see is the crust & not the top of gaseous clouds. None knows where solid crustal ground exists, deep below or inside)

Unless you have a bathysphere-like vehicle that can stand extremely high pressure and temperature you will surely die. If you have that vehicle, you can sink down through the gaseous surface to a solid surface. Nobody knows the diameter of the solid surface. If you want to cross the outer regions of the atmosphere in a blimp at 50 kph it is going to take a very long time

Well.. Jupiter's about 88,000 miles in diameter; so, it's circumference is
C = D x pi
C = 88,000 x 3.141592
C = 276,460 Miles
I tend to speed if there's not much traffic, and I doubt there's much on Jupiter (at least, right now)... so 276,460miles / 80 mph = 3,456 hours
Or about 144 days. (Speeding, with no bathroom breaks...)

oh I reckon at 60mph to drive across just around jupiters equator would take 190 days
