Opened up SPAM and its grey/brown?
I got a can of SPAM just 2 days ago from the store. I opened it today and it's not the usual pink color it's grayish/brown. Should I return it? Is it bad? It doesn't' smell funny just looks very weird.

If the whole thing is brown, I would probably toss it out. Chemicals used cause it to turn pink. Check the expiration date. While canned foods should last virtually forever, there may have been a leak in the can.

That should be thrown away. Sounds like it may have had a pin-prick sized ding in the can and it spoiled.

what kind is it? If its turkey or some other flavor, it may suppose to be that color.
I would NOT toss it, I would take it back to the store for a refund. Or call the 800 number on the can and tell them what you are seeing. they can advise you as to what to do.

When in doubt, throw it out. They have a "Best by" date on every can. If the can is new, take it back to the store. I wouldn't eat it, personally.
