Wolves have been, and continue to be persecuted, throughout human history. There are still people who will shoot them on sight outside of Yellowstone. Only people who enjoy wildlife like to watch them and appreciate them.

They should be feared and respected. They're large, their fierce and worse yet they hunt in packs. I wouldn't want to come across one in the woods.

Well, some few probably do idolize them. They are beautiful animals if that is what you look for in them.

Puma is one high on my list, gorgeous cats.

Majority wise, I would say no. Bats are a beautiful creature in my perspective, some ugly demon to others.

One of my favorite spiders held the title as the ugliest animals, but incredibly fascinating.

Check out the ogre faced spider.

    Much is personal perspective.

yes. it wouldn't be so bad if these people who idolize them didn't spread so much misinformation. like the alpha theory, the man who created that theory has said himself it's inaccurate because they were studying unrelated wolves in captivity rather than a true wolf pack, which is just a family of two parents and their children.
