    I talk to them. I have pretty bad social anxiety but I do my best to talk.

    I don't like to be rude and ignore anyone as well, especially since they usually are starting off with a question/comment about my tattoos/clothes/hair. It would be like maximum douchebaggery to ignore them.

    The the U.S., you should be as polite as possible. You never know who has a gun and a mental health history

    since i dont want to be rude i would talk back but i can imagine it would be awkward because im really shy and nervous in social situations

    I'm friendly so yes I talk back to them. Nothing personal just "standing in line chatting."
