K12 has both public and private options. State regulations for online Charter Schools when they are public often aren't identical to regular brick-and-mortar schools. It's kind of like how alternative schools have different schedules and graduation requirements, usually the minimum. Either way, it's irrelevant to your question. What you need to do is contact them, as they often have threads, groups or chat rooms, that you might be able to get some help from. The only way to know is to contact the K-12 that you're specifically enrolled in and find out. what types of student groups they have. Just be aware that they will monitor them and don't cheat, but it's fine to ask for help just as any student sometimes has to.

Sha_lyn is right. K12 is a public for-profit public school, not homeschooling. That means it has to obey all the same laws as every other public school in your state. So it matters which state you are in. What do you need help with? Are you already enrolled and falling behind? or do you want information about K12 before enrolling? Try their website and see if your questions are answered there or ask aging giving more specifics.

You should probably specify which K12 school you are speaking of, as policies, procedures, and course of study will depend on which one you are enrolled in.

Also, you should post what questions you have. This is not a chat site you're supposed to post your question not just ask for general help.

Not all K12 schools are public charter schools. There are a few private programs that use K12. Also K12 charter schools must follow their charter contract with the state or local school district. These rarely include all the rules, regulations and policies that regular public schools must abide by.
