I have a 1950's chrome table and chairs set that the original vinyl on the chairs has yellowed. How do I make it white again?

Update:

I should point out that I do not want to recover them. That makes them worthless.

Recover them. A chemical change has occurred to the vinyl; the discoloration is permanent.

But, be careful. It may be that the discolored, original vinyl is more valuable than new, whiter vinyl.

    replace it

YOu cant, there is a fundamental chemical change that has taken place in the vinyl makeup. You can get them recovered if you wish to do so. Older vinyls usually always yellow.
