why does mustang keep stalling?

I have a 04 gt mustang, I haven t driven it or even cranked it up in about a month, ill turn the key and itll start right up but it wont idle, I can keep it running by giving it gas so I gave it gas till it warmed up hoping it would idle but it just stalled, it wasn t completely warmed up but it was almost there, what might be causing this, it was running perfecty fine last time I drove it, if I actually drive it around for a while (say 20 mins) is I possible that it will idle like it should?

IAC (idle air control). Its a small solenoid controlled by the ECM that bypasses air around the throttle plate to control the idle speed. They are always within a few inches of the throttle body on the side or top. Sometimes they don't even light the MIL, check engine light or throw a code on the ECM. Two small bolts/screws and one electrical connector and if that's the problem it will idle. Most Auto Parts store will pull stored codes for you for free if you can get it there. Some codes don't turn the MIL warning on. Most vacuum leaks will cause a lean condition and you will get codes like "HO2 bank 1 stuck lean".
