My best friend committed suicide and I am having a hard time dealing with the loss. Any suggestions about how I can get over this?

Honestly, speaking from experience, you won't ever fully get over the loss of someone you cared about deeply. A close friend of mine, who I had known for over 7 years, committed suicide a few years back and I still have a hard time whenever someone or something reminds me of him. I promise it gets easier to deal with, but the pain of having lost them will always be there. I hope it gets easier for you quickly, because having that constant ache in your chest when you remember you won't ever see them again is really difficult to deal with. Stay safe darling.

Hi, there. I'm so sorry for your loss. This website has information that might help you:

You can also call their 1-800 number and talk to a live person. Please know that your friend was suffering very much and there was nothing you could have done to prevent what they did. Also, take solace in the knowledge that your friend is no longer suffering. I hope this helps.

Think about the positive things you two have done instead of dreading over sad memories. Your friend wants you to live life and be happy and dont suffer the way they did. Sucided isn't the answer .
