How to handle a death of a friend?

Just found out my friend passed away yesterday and I've been crying all day and don't know how to handle it..any advice ?

    Appreciate what good times you remember and realize you will be hurting for a while so occupy yourself with your other friends. Eventually it won't hurt as much...
