How do you act around a first girlfriend?

K, so I'm a 14 year old boy, and one of my close friends asked me out day-before yesterday. I was like, sure. I did this because I had started liking her as well. I understand the whole "be yourself" stuff, but then how is it different than a simple friendship? I don't really know how to act in terms of hugs, kisses, compliments, etc. Its summer break, and we will rarely see each other. I have no idea how to act over text, like what to say, or what to do. We once in a while also FaceTime. We have much in common and are both pretty awkward. We are the "geeks" or "nerds" so to speak. (not really, we just aren't popular) (I hate such stereotypes. They rarely ever define a person) How should I act around her?
