im looking for a cigarette lighter what type is it?
hi im looking for is a gas lighter but i dont know what kind they are i searched for windproof but all i see is electronic lighters i want the gas ones i had one years ago it had a flame like from a space rocket it had a button which give the gas a spark to light it what are those called?

What you are looking for is a cigar lighter or perhaps a pipe lighter. If you were just lighting a cigarette the electronic ones are not only adequate but are better and cheaper.
so just google cigar or perhaps pipe lighters and you can probably find the one your looking for in google images.
but one of the best known and respected brands is ScortchTorch. Not sure what kind of clientele the cater too. Maybe campers? Guys with giant bongs? but anyway check out their website.

oh another google search is for a "fireplace lighter". I have an old coleman lighter that isn't portable but has a lot of good uses.

I believe they are called torch lighters? I've een one in the store that said that but it also said wind proof.
