Severe pain after wisdom tooth extraction?
This morning I got my top and bottom right wisdom teeth removed, the numbing has wore off and the pain is severe (Much worse than when I had my appendix removed). They didn't put stitches in it either which made me wonder. The pain medicine they gave me (Hydrocodone 7.5 mg) did absolutely nothing, the pain is easily a 10/10. Is this normal for hours after the actual extraction? When will it get better?
I usually have a high pain tolerance, and don't let pain get to me, but this is on a whole another level of pain.

Go back to dentist and ask them to check out.
You may have a condition called dry roots.
I had severe pain after extraction and did not go back to dentist. I was later told this was not normal and I had dry roots and I should have gone back and got some treatment for this. Since I did not get treatment I was in severe pain for a month - so I advise get yourself checked out
