I have a 2008 cf moto EFI scooter. The fuel pump wont come on when i turn the key.?

I connected it to a battery and the pump pumps gas into a bucket. The starter turns the engine fine. All fuses are good. Why is it not working? The bike sat for a year prior to me trying to get it started. Only issue i see is fuel inst going to the injector. Old fuel was drained.

    Does your bike have a fuel pump relay?

    If yes, it "could" be defective.

    Most Japanese bikes with EFI have them.
