my dog swallowed treated lake water?

So I took my dog to the lake to swim, and all was going well until I saw a little sign that said the water was treated for weeds two days ago, and it is not safe to swim for another 4 days. I got my dog out of the lake, took her home and gave her a bath. She was in the lake for about 10 minutes. She doesn t seem to be having problems, but I m still worried. Will she be okay? She is a 100 lb Golden Retriever if that helps.

You need to contact someone who knows more about the herbicide used & find out how toxic it is to dogs.

Too many unknown factors to answer your question.

Hopefully you will read warning signs after this.

By swallowing water the dog has consumed a herbicide (I assume). it may have possibly ALSO ABSORBED more thru its skin - while IN the water. Contact your vet (ASAP!!) with the name of the weed killing product (herbicide?) USED & if possible, the approx amount used in the lake & the size in acres) or if a pond; the approx size of the body of treated water.

We can't tell you if she'll be okay, because we don't know how much water she swallowed or what the concentration of pesticide was. Keep observing her, and if you notice anything like vomiting, pain, lack of energy or anything else out of the ordinary, take her to the vet asap.
