    I don't recommend kids using Facebook at all. Any grown man or woman can contact your kid at any time, or your kid could see strangers they find attractive and contact them themselves. Either way could end negatively, and even if nothing bad comes of it the first time around, your kid might continue and something bad will happen the second time around.
