Should it be illegal for women to smoke cigarettes?

Whether or not something is illegal should not depend on gender. If it's illegal for women, it should be illegal for men too. And while I personally hate cigarettes I believe in self ownership/bodily autonomy, so people should be able to choose to smoke if they want.

Here's the issue that I see here. You want WOMEN to not smoke, because it promotes it to little girls. Okay, what about the little boys seeing their dads smoke? That doesn't matter, somehow? And.. How about the fact that everyone will do what they want, regardless of what's illegal or not? Heroin being illegal sure didn't ******* stop me! So what makes you think a silly ban is gonna do anything?

It holds no water, no logic, this ban you want in place. The concept makes little to no sense, and the actual execution of the plan would cause so much trouble and chaos that you'd damn well wish the women who had cigarettes were still smoking instead of rioting.

I don't think it should be illegal for anyone to smoke as long as they're 18 or older. The last thing we need is cartels and gangs murdering even more people to corner the market on yet another banned substance.

Look around you. There are thousands of examples of things that people do that are negative influences on children. Picking one that is so controversial does not elevate you to a moral high ground. And please don't deny that that is what you are trying to do. It is so clearly obvious!
