Does Inkitt give you profit from the books you put up?

I just got this in my inbox

We have a reason to celebrate and decided to award you $15 for EVERY new novel you submit until the end of THIS WEEK.

Did you know we’re now picking another novel for publication every week? This means that YOUR chances of winning a publishing deal have now significantly increased!

How do you increase your chances even further? It’s simple: The more novels you upload onto Inkitt, the greater your chances of being chosen (because you give readers more stories to potentially fall in love with). Ironically, many of our now published authors got chosen for works which they would have never expected to find an audience for. It’s simply not possible to predict what readers are looking for, it might be the novel you have re-written for the 7th time, or an unfinished draft you wrote within a week. This is why we have decided to encourage all our novelists to show off more of their works. You never know what’s in store for you.

I’ll personally handle the uploads for you, just send me your novel(s) as Word docx. files (must be min. 20,000 words) to specialoffer@inkitt.com, CC your friend from whom you received this email and your $15, $30, $45, $150, or more is on its way to you.

Do you make any sort of profit after you give them the book? Why would you spend months putting you blood, sweat and tears into a novel for just enough to buy a pizza? After you submit your novel do you get a cut of the profit after they put it wherever?
