When your brain splits and creates another alter in order to survive trauma, literally re-purposes a portion of itself which might had been used for something else, just so you can retain some sense of life in this hellhole, then you can come talk to me about gang-rape or sending nudes. I had my memories of abuse given back to me on purpose at the age of 39. You could literally live and die never knowing that you were abused, never mind how. She got her memories back at 36...
