What is the definition of the following religious belief?

It's a bit like deism, but not quite. It's the belief that there is a god, but it's more like the universe itself. It's everywhere, it's life and love and hope and all that. But it's not an organized religion. Like that's wrong and foolish and all that. I'm not quite sure how to describe what my friend believes in. Is there a specific term for this type of belief, cause deism seems to be the closest I've seen.

Many, if not most religions have this idea. Christian theologians have that God is both "immanent," meaning a being right over there with whom we can relate with, and "transcendent," meaning everywhere in the universe all at the same time.
