Why does my Samsung Gallery S III keep shutting itself off? The battery also drains rapidly?

    It's old and the battery has outlived its life.

    Try unmounting sd card then turn off phone then remove sd card. Now try restarting phone n see if solves issue

    Could just be in need of a new battery. Not exactly the newest phone out.
