Am I a loser if I don't got a car at 16? how can i possibly get a girlfriend with no car? :(?

I hate it cause a lot of people in my class have cars somehow but my family is too poor to give me one and I just got a job at food lion trying to save up so I can buy it myself. My mom is a bartender that works really hard to provide me food and basic entertainment like internet and netflix and I'm pretty athletic sense I'm bored all the time but the last time I tried to approach a girl with confidence we became friendish until we stayed after school and she found out I didn't have a car to drive her home. I usually run 2 miles after school when I wanna go home and I thought she had a ride and didn't ask me if I could drive her so after that she basically called me a loser and left...Honestly it's hard to save up money for a car they're so expensive and the best one I could find for cheap was a firebird for 3900 and I just got my job and I'm already 16. is there a alternative or quick way to get a licence an alternative way I don't know about that you used? thanks for the answer.

Update:

with a licence I could at least use my moms car on her days off and those are the days I could try and make friends afterschool on track practice or something

When I was in high school I felt like such a loser waiting at the bus stop while all the kids in my class (it seemed) were driving by. Realistically, having a car at your age is a huge privilege. Car are expensive! I'm only a few years out of high school, and I have spent a lot more on my car than I could've ever imagined. It's broken down several times, needs regular maintenance, car insurance is insanely high for young people, and I have to gas it up every payday. There's no need to rush as much as you don't want to hear that. Any girl who's truly interested in you won't care if you don't have a car. I met my boyfriend in high school 4 years ago. He didn't have a car, but who cares? I've been with him ever since. Your time will come :)

Greetings I currently do not have a car at 18. No one has called me a looser because of it. A few looked down on that fact about me, but thats mainly because they just wanted a taxi. You're good

You could try earning a car, work for it.  You could try improving your education.  Your writing skills are poor.  You could even try getting a girlfriend who has a car.  That would be suave.  Or you could choose to remain ignorant.  Choosing such would make you a loser.  Learn now, or pay for your ignorance later.

You can buy a cheap car (less than 1,000) - use that for a little while until you can get a better one.  Just make sure you test drive the car before you decide to buy - most lemons will run well enough as long as you keep up with oil changes.

Don't rush into things. Don't let society tell you that you're a loser because you don't have a car at sixteen or anything else. Remember, as you get older, the more responsibilities you will have. With a car, you need a insurance and don't rush into getting a girlfriend. What's the rush? :) I hope I helped.
