How do I find other musicians in high school?

I wanna start a pop punk band. Music is my passion but the problem i'm currently having is that people my age don't take music as seriously I do so they never show up to practice. I want to be in a band that sounds good and one with members who can commit and contribute. I'm a guitar player and singer by the way.

    Ask your music teacher to ask around and make time for you to see them. We had a special band course in our high school, mabye suggest something like that.

    Put up flyers around the school and start a club. that way you can thin out the best
