If you worked a job for four years, quit that job, started a new job, and within three weeks they cut you off the schedule?
...what happens with filing unemployment?
I was employed for four years. I decided to leave that job and take a better job. The manager was micromanaging and nitpicky, and within three weeks I was off the schedule.
I filed unemployment. I'm in MA. What's going to happen? Will I get it?
I was NOT fired for cause. She complained that I was too quiet and needed to talk more with customers. That's a performance issue and not a bar to getting unemployment.
I get that three weeks isn't long enough, but I worked during my "base period" even if it was for a job I quit. So why can't I get benefits? I'm scared. I'm going to be homeless if I don't get it.

You should get it. They'll use your income from your old job to figure how much you'll get.

You'll probably get UE because your termination was not under your control (based upon your posting). But if your employer wasn't paying into the UE fund, he'll have more problems that you will.

You cannot get unemployment from a job you quit.
For the new job, 3 weeks is most likely not enough time to be eligible, but check with your own state office.
