Can I choose a wider tire for the same rim?
Will tire-size 215/55-R15 fit on rim-size 6JJx15 (meant for original tire-size of 195/65-R15)? The car in question is a 2003 Toyota Corolla sedan. Thanks in advance guys.

That's not too big a jump in tire size for the rim.

Modern low profile tires need wider rims to function properly. It's probably best to stay with the factory original tire size.
