Humira and Enbrel pain difference?
I was on Enbrel and it was working a little bit, but I started to get a reaction at the injection site so my doctor is switching me to Humira.
I was wondering if it hurt more or less (or the same) during the injection itself. The Enbrel seemed to hurt more every time I did it. Both of these are in the pen form for me. I tried all the tips like leaving it out to get warm beforehand an icing the area before/after. I am uncomfortable injecting on the abdomen, so I do it on my thigh every time.
I'm starting Humira today and one of the nurses is coming to my apartment to help me with the first one because it's a new medication and slightly different.
Thank you for any tips!

My daughter was on Humira for several years I gave her the injections, always in her lower stomach area. Sometimes she had bruising, but she never complained. But then, she's strong and doesn't whine.

They both kind of burn going in (at least from my opinion). I hated every single infusion. I ended up with side effects from both, but while I was on Humira I saw more positive changes than I did from Enbrel. I hope the change in medication works for you. take care.
