  • Verb energy bars recipe?

    Hello :)

I am going to switch from a stimulant ADHD med to a non stimulant ADHD medication soon. When I do that, I am going to need more caffeine in my life and I hate coffee. Tea doesn't have as much caffeine in it and drinking five cups of tea a day doesn't sound reasonable. I have verb energy bars, but they are way too expensive!!

Anyone have an idea of how they are made or know of similar recipes for at home energy bars made from tea leaves or something?

  • Meow? Cat asking too many questions.?

I just moved my cat to a new home and he is taking as you would expect...

So, he is finally eating more and exploring past his home base of my bedroom and whenever I visit the kitchen and he follows me, he meows at me like it's a question. I've never heard him meow like that before. It's as if he is asking me something because it is a short meow with the ending being a higher pitch (just how the ending of a question sounds).

Anyone have any theories as to what this indicates... Or what the question is?

  • If Mulan's family speaks English as their first language in the live action movie, why do they have accents that suggest otherwise?

Unless chinese is their first language and all of china decided to speak English instead, it is an example of using english when we all know they wouldn't be way back before countries were friendly with each other and shared stuff about their languages and cultures.

It's like in doctor who, where the tardis translates everything for you with special science, but everyone will have accents relating to Earth. Accents that native English speaking would have (mainly accents originating in the UK).

It's not like they make up an accent an alien would have if they learned English. Secondly, when they go to countries that don't have many English speakers, their accents don't change at all!

In Mulan, many characters have Chinese accents. But why not just have them speak Chinese or have an accent that native English speakers have? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Same with Uncle Iroh from Avatar: the last airbender. Yes, he is my favorite character from the show forever and always, but his father didn't speak another language, his brother didn't, and he doesn't seem to... So, why does he speak like it is his second language?

    So many questions...

  • Port Forwarding?

I have an optimum router and whenever I try to follow any person's tutorial on how to port forward (for a personal and small Minecraft server), I get to the optimum router page and it says absolutely nothing about port forwarding. I have no idea how to find the option. I open up the command prompt and get the numbers I need, but I then just need the place to put them.

  • Where can I retrieve medical records from a closed hospital?

United Hospital in Port Chester, NY shut down years ago. I was born there in 1998.

I read in "State Medical Record Laws: Minimum Medical Record Retention Periods for Records Held by Medical Doctors and Hospitals" that in New York, hospitals must keep medical records for minors:

"6 years from the date of discharge or 3 years after the patient reaches 18 years (i.e., until patient turns 21), whichever is

    longer."

I will be 20 soon and I need to find my medical information from 1998. The law states that the hospital should still have the information, but as it is closed, I have no idea where it would be transferred to.

  • Humira and Enbrel pain difference?

I was on Enbrel and it was working a little bit, but I started to get a reaction at the injection site so my doctor is switching me to Humira.

I was wondering if it hurt more or less (or the same) during the injection itself. The Enbrel seemed to hurt more every time I did it. Both of these are in the pen form for me. I tried all the tips like leaving it out to get warm beforehand an icing the area before/after. I am uncomfortable injecting on the abdomen, so I do it on my thigh every time.

I'm starting Humira today and one of the nurses is coming to my apartment to help me with the first one because it's a new medication and slightly different.

    Thank you for any tips!

  • Does the capo change the fret numbers in tabs?

I'm not used to reading tabs with a capo and I was wondering if there was a capo on the third fret of a guitar, then does that make the fifth fret the seventh fret now? Or is it still the fifth fret from the nut of the guitar?

I set the notifications to update at certain times and notify me of emails but it doesn't work and I could miss important emails (as I did this week). Please help me figure out any potential reasons to why this is happening. Thank you very much.

  • What is the dialogue in the song Tangled in the Great Escape by Pierce the Veil?

Just before the lyrics "Can I just have one more taste? Just to make it through the day." There is this section where they are saying something along the lines of "I know what I want. I know what I need" and I also picked up "its because you don't understand" and maybe the word "sir" before that with another sentence.

I want to perform this song and I want to have a couple people saying all of that with me for effect. I think it will be really cool!

  • How old is Mashiro Mitsumine from the anime Mikakunin de Shinkoukei?

I just watched the first episode and I cant figure out how old Mashiro is. They say that she is loli-shota meaning that she looks and acts younger than her age. I'm just so curious I cant figure it out.

  • the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya episode order?

I have now watched season 1 and episode 0. I am wondering if I am suppose to watch the movies now or season 2. I dont know which one comes first or aired first and I dont even know which order the movies are suppose to be in. I know that the first season is from 2006 and that the second season is from 2009 and has some 1st season episodes mixed in somewhere in there as I have heard but i just dont know where those movies fit in. I have heard that they technically dont exist in the storyline? I really like this anime I just dont know what order it comes in.

  • What piano pieces should I learn?

It is the summer so I have an unimaginable amount of free time on my hands now and I have no idea what I will be learning over the summer because I don't have a teacher to direct me to any songs. I am almost done learning the first movement of Moonlight Sonata and I want to try to learn the third movement (which seems impossible). I want to learn something challenging like the beginning of Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3 but I mean only the beginning because it is so long. can you list maybe ten songs that are a challenge (not as hard as the third movement of moonlight sonata of course!) and that has a lot of dynamics and a fast pace with much emotion. not something so happy. something very minor and interesting for that every note has meaning and it keeps the listener's attention. any song ideas would be much appreciated :)

  • Double sharp or Triple sharp?

I am learning the song Moonlight Sonata (1st movement). In the key signature, one of the notes that it says to be sharp is D. Near the end of the piece, it has a D with a double sharp next to it. Would I count how it is a sharp in the key signature and sharp it three times to be an F sharp or would it only be twice to then be an F natural?

  • If I took about 20 pictures a day for my whole life, how many gigabytes would it take up on a flash drive?

I take a lot of pictures. I am someone who likes to capture memorable moments or just things i think are cool. Some days, I can take 50 pictures but some days, I only take one or two. but maybe as an estimated average, lets say that I take 20 pictures a day. If I wanted to save all the pictures I take in my life of lets say 60 years on a flash drive, how much space would there need to be on it? Also, how many gigabytes are there possible to have on a flash drive? At least with the technology we have today. And how much can a flash drive with that much space be worth?

    365.25 x 20 = 7305

    7305 x 60 = 438300

wow, 438300 pictures 0.0 I don't know how much one picture takes up and trust me I hate math. I wouldn't have been able to do that without a calculator. Thank you anyone who is brave enough to accept the challenge I give to you although, it doesn't mean it is a challenge if its only hard for me to solve. It may be like second grade math to someone else.

  • what happened to the fine tune on my D string on my violin?

A couple days ago my D string fine tune was very hard to turn and i had to use the peg to tune it. Then today when i tried to tune it by the fine tune it became extremely loose and won't effect the sound of the string at all. Does anyone know what could have happened to it to be like that?
