why do i get a sharp pain in my throat when i see 2 men kiss?

I get this sharp pain in my throat if I see 2 men kiss, but it also happens if I see a tongue ring, or something ... odd. It used to happen a lot when I was 22 and went to law school. it was a fairly larger city than my undergraduate. I nearly passed out when I saw someone with a tongue ring for the first time. when I went to the club for the first time, I saw 2 guys kissing and I would get that sick (it hurts) feeling. now like 15 years later, I got that same feeling watching a buzzfeed video, but they weren't kissing they were two straight (I guess) men, sleeping in the same bed, with full pajamas on, don't nothing to each other at all. I'm afraid to finish watching the series, until I figure this out.

It's a painful physical, involuntary response.
