What does sand do?
Water drips. What do sand and dirt do? Spew? There's a sand cave in Ferndale, right under a road, that was losing some sand (or dirt?) the last time I was there, on the beach. No moisture, but the sand (or dirt) was coming down, like drips from a faucet.
Let me be the first to admit, it's really not a home & Garden question. But YA chose the category. I only chose the sub of it. I want to write a poem, using sand and dirt, as a comparison to something.
You probably have to go to Ferndale, CA, to see the problem at the beach, to understand my question.
