I have a pretty old iPod 8GB not sure which one. It has touch screen, It wont turn on or charge.?
When connected to pc it is not recognized and does not show up in my computer its like i never connected it to my pc and it doesn t show the battery icon with red when plugged into pc or outlet plug.

The battery is bad.
That's a certainty.
The best thing to do is take it to an audio repair shop that services iPods
(call first and ask if they do).
There you will learn the rest.
