Are you for or against capital punishment?

Im against it, not for moral reasons but for pragmatic reasons. Mostly because you could potentially be executing an innocent person (look up Crippen case as a good example) and it usually takes so long for these guys to actually be executed that a number of them are commuted to life anyway. Plus probably having to share a cell with someone who has great similarity to a real life Simon Adebisi sounds far less merciful than death to me.

Against - being stuck in a rancid jail with a load of violent lowlifes and risking homosexual rape every night for 50-60 years sounds a lot worse than a quick and easy execution.

And if you're one of the 2-3% who didn't actually commit the crime .....

I am in England and we havent had hanging since the 1960s but yes I would have it back again.

A certain breed of people definitely deserve it i.e paedophiles and child murderers.

For it, in cases that MERIT it, with GUILT firmly 100% established by FACTS......not lying eyewitness, and planted evidence.

Only when you KNOW you have the right guy. -------fry them.

White mother rolls her car into a lake with 3 kids strapped into the carseat.....she gets 30 years and is out in 10, for good behavior. .
