Soul goes to grave. The soul is the person.

    Ezekiel 18:4

4 Look! All the souls*—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so also the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul* who sins is the one who will die.

What happens to the spirit when a person dies? Psalm 146:4 says: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.” When a person dies, his impersonal spirit does not go on existing in another realm as a spirit creature. It “returns to the true God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 12:7) This means that any hope of future life for that person now rests entirely with God.

    New World Translation

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then the dust returns to the earth,+ just as it was, and the spirit* returns to the true God who gave it.+

The Bible clearly states that we will live eternally one place or another. More importantly it is Jesus who states that. Jehovah Witnesses will quote the Old Testament and fail on the words of Jesus himself. Proof yet again, that they have a skewed knowledge of the Bible.

Matthew 25:46 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

I'll be heading at incredible speed from Earth, through the universe to Planet Amazon, which is inhabited by beautiful women.

There I intend to rule as a God.

In an infinite universe of infinite possibilities, I've as much chance as you with your harp, wings and fluffy clouded eternity.

According to revelations, you don't do anything until the rapture. I guess you're just dead until that time comes

Who knows, any claiming to know are likely full of sh!t, show me someone who has died and returned from death.

And what is your definition of "soul"? Soul has many definitions.

Ask an animal what happens to the soul/spirit after death, better yet ask a trained parrot for the answer and it will give you the answer it's been trained to give just like the human race has been.

The Bible provides a clear and simple answer:

When we die, we all go to the common grave - the cemetery. There is no activity after death and there is no 'hell'. Hell is a construct of Christendom but does not appear in the Bible. The Bible refers to Sheol and Hades both meaning the common grave of mankind - the cemetery. There is promised a resurrection. At that time, there will be a judgment. Following are the supporting scriptures.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6) For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun.

(Ecclesiastes 9:10) Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might, for there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave, where you are going.

(John 5:28, 29) Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

The account of the resurrection of Lazarus also tells us that there is only sleep -there is no awareness of anything in death. Read John 11: 11-16 and John 11:41-44. There is no mention here of Lazarus of being anywhere except asleep in death.

This is a short form of my research based on my personal experience. A human being is always living with a group of spirits which have joined one by one since birth. Between creatures (including human beings) and God there are millions of invisible elements. There are divisions too. We are just robots made of different materials (flesh, bones, nerves etc.,) created by scientist God or eternal beings to entertain God. Each of us have memories like computers have RAM. RAM chip may be considered as a mind of a human being, The fed things (data= knowledge=several spirits or invisible elements) are in contact with the mind since childhood. A brain is a media to connect spirits to a human mind. A mind is nothing but a computer's mind. After the destruction of a computer completely you can't get it anywhere. The same is the case with human beings. In fact, all stuff related to a human being lives with a human being in the form of spirits. Even thoughts are not our own. One after another the spirits think and we choose (accept) or reject the ideas (based on the knowledge we have possessed) which they transmit to our mind through our brain in the form of thoughts. If current (electricity) stopped the memory chip loses all data. This is with a computer. The same thing occurs to all of us. Computers are functioning by electric power but human bodies are functioning by natural power. We call this as soul. This soul is nothing but just an energy which is needed for the functionality of a body. If this (energy) is consumed the functionality ends. The spirits leave the body and go to different places. No one lives in the form of spirit or anything else after death. We are simply our bodies, the toys made for spirits for their games.

After death no one is going to be anything. Can you remember all that happened to you when you were a baby? You forget everything very soon. Even at the age of six, you don't know what happened to you when you were a baby. We are still new born babies. What you see in you, may be changes of intelligence or changes of behavior, manners etc., whatever may be, are spirits - real spirits. That's why certain people during their deadly accidents lose everything and remains like a baby. During these accidents, the extremity of shock drives the spirits away from the body or contact. Their behavior changes or go back to a level according to the number of spirits they have lost. After death all becomes nothing.

    REINCARNATION

Reincarnation is a rare phenomenon which is not possible to all. To form a reincarnation all spirits which lived with a body must possess another person together. Then only he/she can feel same thing of the demised person. But this is not happening because the spirits never stay together to haunt or possess another. They go to different bodies. Rarely there might have been certain cases but I think it had changed after some time. Spirits during their life time live with many bodies (one after another). Their memories sometimes affects the person. This is natural. This is not enough to believe that there is rebirth. No one returns after death. A human's life ends with a single body.

There is no hell or heaven for human beings. They are only for spirits. I guess that the heaven is just the sky and hell is the prison for spirits. Good spirits are free to go anywhere in the sky but bad spirits are put in prison for certain years. Their lifetime is limited. If what they (spirits) have said is true then they live approximately for 500 years. Spirits are separate elements. There is always a common fate which is always applicable to all creatures including human beings. That is, we are like other creatures except that we have an additional sense (sixth sense). This sense had changed only the living conditions of the human beings but not the fate. The fate is almost same to all creatures including human beings.

Oh golly gee, you didn't know that god has little elks running round placing a tiny bottle in each casket. When the casket is buried a tiny spirit get out of the bottle and catches the soul of the dead person and pushes it into the tiny bottle. The bottle is left at the grave site and Jesus picks them up every night all over the world while riding on an ***.

    What happens when we die?

Some people believe that we live on in another form, while others feel that death is the end of everything.

    What the Bible says.

The dead know nothing at all. Ecclesiastes 9:5 When we die, we cease to exist.

The first man, Adam, returned to the dust when he died. Likewise, all others who die return to the dust.

At death man’s spirit, his life-force, which is sustained by breathing, “goes out.” It no longer exists.

So man’s senses of hearing, sight, touch, smell and taste, which depend upon his being able to think, all stop working.

According to the Bible, the dead enter a state of complete unconsciousness.

Why did Jesus speak of death as a sleep?

Because a sleeping person is inactive. During deep sleep there is no consciousness of surroundings or the passing of time. There is no pain or suffering.

Similarly, in death there is no activity or activity or consciousness. But the comparison goes further with sleep.

With sleep, one expects to wake up. And that is exactly the hope that the Bible offers for the dead.

This would be the resurrection that Jesus spoke about.
