YOu do realize TKD has its origins not just with Korea and kicking but with the fact that it is a offshoot of Shotokan Karate. So knocking one you actually are knocking the other.

And you must be new to the martial arts by the ignorance you show in your question.

You lack knowledge in martial arts and your ignorance shows.

Besides Karate is more like elementary school mainly until you reach master degree of the art. You probably do not know Karate has no weapons at all in it. And that there is grappling embedded in it.

Besides Olympics did wonders at first for TKD and made it popular in the world. Maybe that will happen with Karate. But than again you get these blackbelt mills and a lot of fake instructors in both Karate and TKD. All they do is take your money and fill you with a bunch of B.S.

Also it sounds like from other questions you ask you are in one of these type of schools.
