do rappers rap in odd time signatures?
I keep looking this up and people keep saying they cant think of any but I feel like I hear rappers leave the 4/4 zone all the time (the good ones at least) and people just say its 4/4 because the beat is 4/4. kinda dumb tbh I mean my friend and I made a beat where the drums are 4/4 and the instrumental is 3/4 but im sure the beat would be labeled as 4/4 lol. but that's besides the point I just want a answer about the rappers. like am I incorrect with what I said about rappers leaving the 4/4 zone a lot. like I feel like Eminem does it at times

Rappers supply the producers with an accapella. The producers do all sorts of things to the vocal to make it fit. It's really the mix engineers who do the sorting out!
