can you get twin speakers for stereo sound or are they just the single speaker these days?

    My understanding is that part of the Bluetooth 4.1 version standard is that you can pair two identical Bluetooth speakers together for stereo output...So for blue-tooth speakers they must have the latest versions and the speakers must be identical...Of course you can always do it the old fashion way with wire two speakers and a stereo amplifier....If a Bluetooth speaker can be paired for stereo output it usually will be stated in the advertising or spec sheet for the speaker...

    As JetDoc points out, Stereo is the use of two speakers to create a three dimensional sound field. Using one speaker is called mono, or monophonic sound. Stereo reproduction requires, eh, stereo equipment.

    STEREOPHONIC sound requires AT LEAST TWO speakers. You can't get stereo sound from a single speaker.
