I heard some statistic that about a third of all Americans are addicted to some form of opiate or opiod. Many are old people, the doctors often don't need a reason to give out a prescription of pain pills to old white people, however they tend to not prescribe to black people or young people for some reason, which really just creates a market for those old people who want to sell their pills, quite a big market. Anyway, the largest amount of people in jail is due to property crimes, stealing money to support a drug habit, and given the rate of people who get out and go straight back into jail, I think we should perhaps agree it would be better if they didn't go in there in the first place, maybe? The answer to me is fairly obvious, you need to allow everyone to get their drugs from a doctor, perhaps aiming to get off them, or reduce, but it has be a decision that each person makes themselves, you can't force anyone to do what you tell them to do, and the harder you try, the more they have some issue bottled up and waiting to come out, perhaps when they get money. Drugs have been around a long time, over ten thousand years and they aren't going away, so I think it's time for us to learn how to live with them, perhaps find alternatives, treatments, all options need to be explored, with the aim of harm minimization.

Smoking, chewing betel nut, and taking drugs for pleasure are not for Christians.

This practices are wrong because

1) they make us their slaves,

2) they harm our bodies.

3) they are unclean. (Romans 6:19; 12:1; 2 Corinthians 7:1.

It can be very hard to give up these habits. But we must do so to please God Jehovah.

Any technology which can make a plw can also make a sword.

We are co-creators and we have the ability to create just like God. We created those drugs.

Actually, what irks me far more is: why do so many people keep putting all "drugs", (except for the legal ones, that still have thoroughly different effects, of course), in the same damn category? Rather than classifying what specific drug(s) they're talking about... That way, people are able to keep thinking "all drugs are bad, mmm'kay?" Just like the government wants you to... When actually they've got completely different properties! Some are addictive. Others are not. Some harm the body. Others do not. Some can easily be overdosed on. Others can not. And... some of them, (psychedelics and weed, especially), can have only minor risks, and for the most part be thoroughly enjoyable, (in the case of the latter), and oftentimes very deeply life-changing, for the better, (in the case of the former).

..Never claimed not to have an agenda, in terms of this. But there's my axe, and I'll keep grinding it... Hard. Because someone has to! Because most people are completely oblivious to this! And because people like me keep having to suffer for it, (due to f*cked up, arbitrary, one-size-fits-all drug legislation), and it is really NOT okay.

well medicine is a good use for drugs
