Can someone identify ford 428 engine parts for me?

    2 is a dash pot that slows the closure of the throttle. 1 is the part of the choke mechanism that contains a bimetallic spring that will open the choke after it gets hot. There should be an insulated metal tube going to the exhaust manifold to suck hot air into it.

    A 428 cubic inch engine would not have a two barrel carb shown. You either don't know what your talking about or you THINK you have a 428.
