Yes... Why should anyone remove a statue of Robert E. Lee... Yes, he fought on the wrong side..But, he was a brilliant general, man of high integrity & stayed true to his heritage. He is a figure of history who should not be forgotten. Just like many others who are now on the wrong side of history. Removing a statue of a famous person from the region is not the same as removing a Confederate battle flag from a state government facility.

There is no record of Lee being anything but a great man.
